My name is Maximilian Kochendörfer, and I was born in Berlin in 2003. I have always been passionate about cars and motorsport, even though I never took the traditional route through karting. My interest started with Formula 1, but as I got older, my focus shifted increasingly towards touring cars like the DTM and various 24-hour endurance races.
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, real-world motorsport was on pause, so I started to Simracing to chase my passion. In 2022, I joined the Motul Simracing Team. Being surrounded by teammates who all had real-world motorsport backgrounds inspired me to take the next step. Consequently, I made my racing license in 2023 and completed my first test day. 2024 marked my first-ever real racing season, which I successfully finished as the Vice-Champion in my class.
Currently, I am working intensively on my physical fitness with one clear goal: to extract the absolute maximum performance from myself.
