I’m Sam Shaw I’m 19 years old and I’ve been racing for around 12 years. I first started karting because my dad asked me if I wanted to go down to my local kart track and give it a go. Ever since then I was hooked on racing and alway had the dream to become a professional racing driver. For many years I raced at club level karting but when I was 11 years old I started to compete in the British championship and finished 9th out over 50 drivers in my first season. Since then I had many success in karting winning multiple British championship races and scoring podiums in European and world level. And then made the step into cars competing in the British Radical championship. I scored 10 wins and 18 podium’s the most of any driver, I provisionally won the championship, but a post race penalty denied me of it.
